I’m back!
It’s time to get the daily posts rolling again. I’ve been busy lately and I had completely forgotten about KTB, but I’m bringing back the daily posts! Also, I was just thinking that I might just do all the news summaries this weekend and get that over with so I can post daily news in the daily posts. Would make life a lot easier on me and it would bring back some of the old KTB quality that a lot of readers are missing.
Today I watched 28 Weeks Later and I believe I owe the movie’s writer a sincere apology. A few months back I saw the trailer and I instantly thought it was a crappy American sequel to an amazing British movie. The original was awesome, but the sequel is even better! The 28 Days Later atmosphere was totally there and it was even better this time around. The only thing I would’ve liked to see more was the original “lore” from the original movie. Like how the infected only come out at night and stuff, that wasn’t there any more. I had hoped that the Rage virus would end in the first movie, but it looks like the ending of 28 Weeks Later left room for an epic second sequel and I mean epic. I recommend all those of you that are into zombie movies to check out both 28 Weeks Later as well as the original 28 Days Later if you haven’t done so already!
for me, the original is amazing movie, i like music in it. one thing that don’t like in sequel is this boy who is in few moments a bit annoying, this one moment that he runs and plays a hero and sniper shoots to him. oo and this moment that Don kiss his wife, didn’t he know that she could be sick? very lame behavior, but generally movie is cool and this last scene, zombie in Paris, nice
Well if the boy hadn’t gotten it over with then who would have? And Don couldn’t possibly know his wife was immune to the virus because up until then no one knew this was possible.
Until now i haven’t had the time to watch the movie, but after your post i definetly will find time for it
it’s not that what i meant, he shouldn’t kiss her because it’s obvious that she could have a virus inside.
I don’t find it that obvious since everyone with the virus turns into a ragging lunatic. The fact that she didn’t was pretty much a confirmation that she wasn’t infected, even though she was. You have to put yourself in Don’s position, because the viewer will always know better than the characters.
Kudos to Kevin, i really enjoyed the sequal of original movie. Spins on with the same feeling as in the first one, but pushes it a few steps further and has probibly alot more in the budget this time, clearly seen with a major change of gore scenes and other special effects. I do also recomend this movie for those who like zombie movies or even horror for that cause.
